Alice grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area where she climbed trees, swam, played violin and made art in any and all ways she could find.

Alice received a BA with honors in Visual Arts from Brown University. She was awarded the Minnie Helen Hicks Prize in Art and the Joslin Award for Excellence in Art. After graduating from Brown, she has studied at the Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center and was granted the Bilezekian Foundation Scholarship and the Gail & Michael Mazur Printmaking Scholarship. Alice's other awards in art include the 2002 U.S. Congressional Art Competition 18th Congressional District and the Netflix 2016 Fall Mailer design contest.

Alice has lived and taught in the Dominican Republic and Japan and traveled throughout Southeast Asia and Europe. She is a violinist and fiddler and has performed across New England. Her art is influenced by her travels, her love of the outdoors, and her affinity for the wonderfully weird.

Alice currently lives in Massachussets.
